AIT Replies Tinubu's Threat to Sue, Demands N100bn Damages
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, had threatened to sue the channel owners for airing the documentary which he said was defamatory “in all respects.” In a letter dated March 2, 2015, to the management of DAAR Communications Limited, owners of AIT, Tinubu gave the organization 24 hours to apologize and retract the publication.

N11bn Scam: Ex-Gov Audu attacks EFCC operative in court
A statement by the Spokesperson of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, said Mr. Ashade, a member of the EFCC team assigned to cover the proceedings, “was carrying out his lawful duties when Mr. Audu’s aide descended on him”.
Mr. Uwujaren continued, “The sudden realisation that his image might have been captured by the cameraman, incensed Prince Audu. Seething with rage, he demanded for the camera. When Ashade refused to hand the equipment over to the accused person, Prince Audu called on one of his aides, a police inspector, to forcefully collect the camera from Ashade and delete his pictures from it.
“A scuffle ensured which threw the court into confusion. Audu’s aide rained blows on Ashade, in the attempt to snatch the camera from him. It took the personal intervention of Justice Ademola Adeniyi who was about coming out of his chambers to restore order.
Again, Senate refuses to clear Obanikoro
The Senate cleared four ministerial nominees and shifted debates on another three, including Mr. Obanikoro, to next week.
The deferment was the second in one week for Mr. Obanikoro who is at the centre of an election rigging scandal.
We understands the exercise was deferred by the Senate President, David Mark, ostensibly to save Mr. Obanikoro the embarrassment of being defeated by members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who have vowed to block his candidacy.
Mr. Obanikoro was nominated the second time by President Goodluck Jonathan after he failed to clinch the Lagos State governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He is currently embroiled in the infamous Ekiti rigging audio tape crisis, where he is heard virtually threatening a Brigadier General should he fail to support his preferred candidate.
At 9:00 am Wednesday morning cleaners, accompanied by some police, stormed the office of the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Musa Ibeto. Mr. Ibeto defected last year from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State.
“I spotted two Toyota Hilux vehicles, white and black, with registration number PILOT 02 carrying files and chairs belonging to the Deputy Governor out of Government House Minna to an unknown location,” a witness told Reporters.
Deputy Governor Ibeto and the Governor, Muazu Babangida Aliyu, became sour with one another after Mr. Ibeto’s defection to the APC and as a result of mistreatment during the crude gubernatorial primary races in Niger State.
Governor Aliyu was accused of rigging the primary contest in Niger State for PDP candidate Mr. Umar Nasko, at Udrus Legbo Kutigi Hall, where Commissioner for Local Government, the Hon. Kantigi, wrote NASKO on every paper for delegates to slot in a box.
Jim Iyke is not the father of Nadia's twins
According to e.TV’s Vanessa Gyan, Nadia Buari gave birth in a hospital in Atlanta in the presence of her mother and brother and her fiancée showed up later.Her fiancee is reportedly someone she went to university with.
She also revealed on The Late Nite Celebrity Show that her sources told her Nadia and Jim Iyke broke up about 11 months ago briefly after he proposed. Jim Iyke is not the father of Nadia’s twins. Nadia is currently engaged to the father of her twins.

Femi-Fani Kayode is suffering from "substance abuse"- Lai Mohammed
“No, we have never and will never wish anyone any ill health. However, we are seriously concerned that Mr. Fani-Kayode may have unhinged, perhaps as a result of a relapse into an unhealthy lifestyle of substance abuse,” the party said in a statement issued in Dubai on Monday by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed.

The singer who left music to raise her daughter dished out the good news on her social media account today, March 2.

Sources within INEC as well as the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) disclosed that, barring a last-minute change of heart, President Jonathan will go ahead this week to force Mr. Jega to embark on a terminal leave prior to the end of his year in the middle of 2015.
Their sources said the decision to remove Mr. Jega would open the door to appoint a new chairman, a national commisoner of INEC, Amina Bala Zakari, who would be open to jettisoning the use of
Permanent voters cards and other anti-rigging technologies.
“Once Prof. Jega is removed, Mr. President will nominate a new chairman who will declare that INEC is not ready to use PVCs. And once PVCs are removed, it will become easier to carry out major rigging,” an INEC source said.

Jega: CLO, others say Jonathan has sinister motive

Releasing Chibok girls information will damage ties with Nigeria- UK
The British government claimed that revealing details of what it found about the whereabouts of the abducted girls would clearly damage its relationship with Nigeria and other allies.
This revelation came after a UK-based group, Security in Africa, through its founder, Ben Oguntala, wrote the British Ministry of Defence to request for information on the Chibok girls.

It will happen very soon but it takes planning and much more. Ironically, I am facing a lot of pressure regarding marriage but it is not from either of our families. The pressure is from outsiders.
