Trouble Rumbles in GTB

The plundering value in Naira and the degenerating Nigerian economy has put senior members of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) in a very sour mood; this is not simply because the failing economy has affected the lives of every Nigerian, but because the Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank, Segun Agbaje has put an end to the frivolousness of their spending. Agbaje’s frantic instruction to senior staff of GTB to cut down on their wasteful spending has left a bad taste in their mouths.
Strict measures have been temporarily introduced to the company’s policy to curb wasteful and unnecessary spending on projects or tasks that are not approved by Agbaje. Senior members of GTBank are currently grieving over the end of their frequent trips outside the country as the banking guru manages the bank’s resources by insisting that “Skyping” should be substituted for trips abroad for foreign meetings. Agbaje also insists that any expense on media and advertorial must be approved by him. These policies are as a result of the recent harsh economic state, especially the discouraging value of naira against dollars.
