TV Presenter loses tentacles after encounter with strange woman

A married TV presenter has lost  his  testicles after he met a mystery blonde stranger at a pub. After exchanging pleasantries and eating at a restaurant, They returned to his car where he kissed her - passed out and woke up without his testicles.
Dmitry Nikolaev, 30, from Moscow, was out drinking at his local bar when an attractive woman approached him and struck up a conversation. The next thing he remembers is waking up, feeling an acute pain below the waist and noticing blood on his pants. It was only when he arrived at hospital that doctors told him he'd been drugged and his testicles were removed by someone who was an expert in castration.
Russian police believe Dmitry was targeted by a criminal gang selling organs on the black market.
He added: "I thought it was just a cut but doctors told me my testicles had been removed."
He spent hours in intensive care where doctors underwent a second operation to close the wound.
The skin was originally cauterized and it was a clean cut so surgeons believe the culprit may have been a doctor or even a vet.
Dmitry meanwhile, told his wife he was forced to undergo emergency surgery on his genitals because of a sudden serious illness.

Woman gives birth to baby without arms in Ogun State

While the arrival of a baby should bring joy unspeakable to its parents Mr. Mudashiru Sheriffdeen of Bosun Street, Ifo in the Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State is in no way happy about the arrival of his baby boy. ‎
‎The wife, Taiwo, was on Tuesday delivered of a baby boy who had no arms. The baby boy weighed 3.25 kilogrammes at birth and was born around 2pm at a private hospital, Majotal Medical Clinic at the Ilogbo area of Ado/Odo-Ota Local Government Area of the state.
The mother of the baby told Metro Plus that immediately she gave birth to the baby boy, her husband took to his heels on hearing that the baby was born without arms.
Expressing her sadness, she said:
“This is my first child and I do not know why I gave birth to this kind of a baby. Immediately my husband was informed that his son had deformity, he ran away and had not come to see me. He is a commercial bus driver, and we had been married now for almost two years before God decided to answer our prayers.

Teenage bride kills husband one week after marriage

Rahma Hussaini, an 18-year-old wife, on Wednesday February 25, stabbed her newly wedded husband at Darmunawa quarters of Kano after the couple had a quarrel. The young couple got married last Friday, February 20. A neighbour, Isa Alhassan revealed that Rahma was forced to marry the 24-year-old Tijjani Basiru.
“We were alarmed by a frightening scream of a subdued man in need of rescue and we rushed to discovered that the man of the house was in the pool of his blood. Neighbours mobilized and took the groom to the hospital but doctors confirmed him dead on arrival,” Alhassan said.

Pastor Insists Jonathan Bribed CAN With 7 Billion Naira

Despite a denial by the national leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) that it did not receive a seven billion Naira bribe from President Goodluck Jonathan, the pastor who broke the story last week insists the association was bribed.
And he says some people within the leadership have called him to confess that his story was true and that what happened was wrong.
Addressing a well-attended press conference in Kaduna on Tuesday, Pastor Kallamu Musa Dikwa, who heads the Voice of Northern Christian Movement, declared that there were a lot of shenanigans in the present leadership of CAN, accusing it of betraying the vision of its founding fathers.
Dikwa reiterated that the CAN leadership received the funds on 21st of January, 2015, and gave N3 million to each of its state chapters.
In effect, the pastor is alleging that the CAN leadership distributed to its national membership a small fraction of what it received, keeping to itself well over N6 billion.
Of the response of the national leadership of CAN to his allegations, he told the journalists: “They even have denied me, and said I did not exist. That is why I came to you to confirm that what I said is true.”

Kidnappers of American Missionary in Kogi demand N60m

Kidnappers have demanded the sum of N60m for the American missionary abducted from her workplace in Kogi State.
Rev. Phyllis Sortor was snatched by masked gunmen, who stormed the Hope Alive Nursery/Primary School, which she runs in Emiworo, Ajaokuta Local government Area of Kogi State on Monday.
According to the Nation,Commissioner of Police Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi said the five kidnappers had tabled N60 million ransom demand.

Boko Haram Twitter Account Suspended

A Twitter account linked to the Boko Haram sect has been suspended by the social media company.
The account, opened recently, had only 19 tweets before it was flagged and brought down Tuesday. Before the suspension, the account was used to propagate messages from the group and its leader, Abubakar Shekau.
The account posted messages in English, Arabic and Hausa languages. The account also posted videos, hosted on sendvid, and images, hosted on Justpaste.it.
In its last tweet, the group claimed it was still in control of Baga, a town in Borno state, which the Nigerian military said is now fully under its legitimate control.
The account was also used to circulate images of the group’s attack on Gombe town two weeks ago. The images showed the group was skilled in graphic designs.

American Missionary Woman Abducted In Kogi State

An American woman doing missionary work at a school in Kogi State was abducted by masked gunman, police say.
Kogi State police spokesman Sola Collins Adebayo told reporters that unknown gunmen first entered the school and started “shooting sporadically to scare away people” at around 10am Monday morning.
The unnamed woman was taken from the school and into the bush. Police suspect the motive for her abduction is for ransom payment.

The release could not be more timely, what with the governor’s own exhortations on the virtues of credibility, avoidance of violence, and its special appeal to “ALL THOSE WHO HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE”.
It is that last item in the advertisement to which I am especially drawn, in view of an audio recording that has now become the latest marvel of democratic exposes, internationally. For those who have nothing to hide, disrobing lies and forgeries and reinforcing truth is regarded as part and parcel of the obligations we owe democracy.
The audio could well be one of such forgeries. We are daily inundated with allegations, evasions, distortions, image plundering and image laundering, all under the permissive canopy of electoral proceeding. Once in a while however, we encounter exposure of an exceptional dimension that appears to strike at the very root of Democracy, questions the validity of an entire electoral system and even erodes confidence in the integrity of the state. ‎GEJ Promises To Set Up First Co-operative University In South West

The incumbent president and People’s Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Goodluck Jonathan on Friday promised to set up the first Co-operative University in the country to be cited in South West region of Nigeria.
He made the promise during an interactive session with the Odua Cooperative Alliance (OCA), a South West Co-operative movement, at the State House, Marina, Lagos.
The President, however, said he would set up a study group to examine how such a university functioned in Kenya to determine the various faculties and departments suitable for Nigeria.
He said the study group would also comprise members of OCA which made the request.
“The issue of university is that, you will nominate some people and we will send them to Kenya to go and really look at the setting up of the Cooperative University.“They will look at the key departments and faculties they have.
“I really believe in the setting up of specialised universities. That was why I set up the Maritime University in Delta State.”
The President said he was glad that such university already existed in Africa and Nigeria would follow.

NLC resolves to hold rescheduled elections March 12

The Nigeria Labour Congress said on Wednesday that factions in the crisis that led to the disruption of elections into its National Executive Council last week have resolved to allow an amicable resolution of the crisis.
Consequently, the rescheduled elections have been slated to hold on Thursday, March 12 at the Eagles Square in Abuja.
At the end of NEC meeting to review the circumstances that led to the crisis, leaders of the warring factions gave their words that they and their supporters would all work together to make the rescheduled poll succeed.
The Congress said the former Credentials Committee, which was largely blamed for the crisis, was dissolved and a new membership of the committee reconstituted.

Fani-Kayode counters President Jonathan, says Ekiti rigging tape authentic

Contrary to President Goodluck Jonathan’s dismissal of the Ekiti rigging audio recording as a fabrication that is not worth his attention, the spokesperson for his campaign, Femi Fani-Kayode has admitted that the tape is genuine but that the characters involved in the meeting captured in the recording were not discussing how to rig the 2014 governorship election in Ekiti state.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, Mr. Fani-Kayode said his team had listened to and reviewed the recording and that it came to the conclusion that the opposition All Progressives Congress turned fact on its head by claiming that Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state; former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro; and the Minister of Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan, who featured in the recording, planned how to rig the election.
“We have listened to the audio clip and we make bold to say that the discussion that took place in it did not make any mention of any form of rigging in the Ekiti state governorship election and neither did it contain any evidence of any conspiracy to rig,” he said.

Obanikoro Confesses He Was At Ekiti Rigging Meeting, Says Jonathan Sent Him

After several denials, Musiliu Obanikoro has finally confessed to several senators in Abuja that he indeed participated in an eve meeting in Ekiti in which a group of politicians and government ministers met with a Nigerian army general to rig the governorship election in favor of Ayodele Fayose, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Obanikoro claims that although he was at the meeting which is now known as “Ekitigate”, he simply attended in order to make peace between the army and Fayose at the meeting. The embattled ministerial nominee claims he was not party to any conversation about rigging. On the contrary, Obanikoro, who was at the time junior Minister for Defence, is overheard clearly on the tape bragging about the authority granted him by President Jonathan.
Prior to admitting his involvement to the Senators, the former minister met with President Jonathan to discuss the tape and his role. A presidency source said Obanikoro told President Jonathan he was present at the meeting but that a part of the audio-recording was “doctored”.
They said President Jonathan had called him to the meeting to discuss how to mitigate the damage created by the leaked tape.  He told the Senators categorically that it was Jonathan himself who had sent him to Ekiti to help Fayose win the election.  On the tape, Obanikoro says, at least twice, that he is on a “mission” for the President.

President Jonathan Cronies Secretly File 5 More Cases To Stop Buhari and INEC, Totaling 10

The number of cases filed by President Goodluck Jonathan aiming to abort the 2015 election has increased to 10, according to OUR REPORTER investigations.
Of this number, three are targeted at stopping the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from conducting the elections.
One of the latest cases was filed directly by the Attorney General of Plateau State and 28 others, seeking an order of the Federal High Court to prevent INEC from using the electoral register recently updated using Personal Voter Cards. The suit, titled Plateau State Government & 28 others V INEC, wants the commission to use the same voter register that was used in 2011.
Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang, is President Jonathan’s Man Friday who heads the President’s faction of the Nigeria Governors Forum.

Jega tells Senators he can’t guarantee elections will hold March 28

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Attahiru Jega, has told Nigerian federal lawmakers he could not guarantee the 2015 general elections will hold on rescheduled dates in March and April.
At a meeting with Senators Wednesday, Mr. Jega said he could not commit himself to the “sanctity” of March 28 and April 11 – dates for the rescheduled Nigeria’s general elections.
He said the electoral commission could not guarantee aspects of the poll that are beyond its control.
Mr. Jega met with the lawmakers to review the decision to postpone the polls from February.
Under the Nigerian law, a further six-week extension of the elections is possible, a prospect opposed by many Nigerians, the main opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, and the international community.

As the world celebrated St Valentine’s day, renewed vows and reassured their love ones, 10 newlyweds in Thialand chose to take the idea more seriously when they lay in a coffin as they said their vows. According to BangkokPost, the wedding ritual, conducted by monks, allows couples to rid themselves of bad luck by being ‘brough back to life’ and is believed to bring true love, prosperity and protection from harm. Participants made offerings to the monks before taking their places side-by-side in the large pink coffin-floral bouquets held to their chests. The monks then draped a large white sheet across them-representing their deaths-and performed chants usually reserved for funerals. The prayers ended with blessings for a new life.

PDP Faction Wants Jonathan Out As Candidate, As Party Faces Deepening Schisms

OUR REPORTER has learned of a new twist in the desire of some top officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for a six-month postponement of polls in Nigeria, with several sources saying a faction of the party would work to replace President Goodluck Jonathan as the party’s presidential candidate.
In separate interviews with SaharaReporters, numerous PDP officials disclosed that many founding members of the party had lost confidence in Mr. Jonathan’s viability as a candidate, adding that a faction within the party had discussed easing the incumbent president out of the presidential race, and replacing him with another candidate from the Niger Delta zone.

LP offers to assist NLC conduct aborted poll

Following the exchange of punches among delegates to the election of the Nigeria Labour Congress, the Labour Party has offered to assist the NLC in conducting a free and fair exercise that will be devoid of rancour.
The National Secretary of Labour Party, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, in a statement on Sunday in Abuja, said while it was a great disservice to the Nigerian workers and the nation that the NLC could not hold a successful election to elect new leaders, he believed it was dangerous to leave the union to address the present challenge alone.
